WAKING UP

Reawakening the academic beast that I've kept behind bars since the semester break

I am in the preparation stage of my project and drawing inspiration from ethics modules and peer discussions regarding scope plans.

KICK OFF

I completed human ethics certifications, updated my project scope after consulting with Diana, and developed brand concepts, balancing creative work with the challenges of tedious tasks.

PEN TO PAPER

Tackling the challenges of time pressure from assignments whilst progressing the preparation for my research methods.

PREP FOR TESTS

Refined my project proposal slides and finally began conducting interviews! Unfortunately, progress was slow due to catching a bad cold.

CONDUCTS

Completed the inspiration phase of my research through undertaking 'Card Sort' and 'Interview' tools in conjunction to catching up with tasks that should have been completed in Week 5.

This week focused on refining the visual identity and value proposition of IMPA. Additionally, it included presenting to the course's Diversity Works partners

BRANDING

This week involved refining IMPA’s logo using a ‘Rapid Prototyping’ approach and creating a new Figma homepage prototype for the digital platform.

SLAVING AWAY

Developed key pages for the IMPA platform; landing page, community, jobs, and news. I encountered challenges with layout, font sizing, and graphics creation.

By delving into a design sprint, I made significant aesthetic improvements to IMPA's platform. In addition, I completed my poster for the exhibition.
